Discovery mode
Vetted sources always run. Discovery adds LinkedIn and Indeed sweeps on top, which find postings at employers nobody has vetted - a wider net through endpoints those sites do not publish for this, so it is the part most likely to break or get rate limited. Turning it off stops the sweeps and leaves the vetted feeds alone.

A posting containing any of these, in the title or the description, is dropped outright - regardless of specialty or commute score. Use this for things a PA isn't eligible for at all (a physician-only credential requirement, for example), not for a category of work - that's what the Excluded specialty tier above is for.
Setting and schedule

Postings rarely state a schedule, so these score rather than filter. Setting is the stronger signal: an outpatient specialty clinic is this schedule.
